Sin exists. Sin separates man from God. What is sin anyway? Mr. Franklin’s little statement quoted above can take us a long way toward understanding the Ten Commandments: The “Thou Shalt” and “Thou Shalt Nots” thingy, and the purpose behind them; obey them and have a better life, ignore them and things just won’t go as well.
Sin is not a word we hear much outside of religious circles. The main reason for that is due to the fact that our world, meaning primarily western culture, has replaced the word with many others in an effort to describe behavior which it does not consider to be currently socially acceptable. Unfortunately, changing the name does not change the reality of the concept; a skunk by any other name is just as smelly. Some behaviors are not right, regardless of society’s fungible norms or the words used to describe them.
In this day and age most of society implicitly and/or explicitly rejects the premise which has been clearly set forth in the Holy Bible that “all have sinned.” Rather most folk seem to prefer to meander towards the tendency to want to believe that some people are naturally good and others have, probably through no fault of their own, unfortunately been influenced to be bad. We use “science” today to say the fault probably lies in our genes. However the human race is suffering as a result of the sin of Adam, or it is suffering for no reason at all.
In the 2,000 years of church history following the time of Jesus’ physical presence in this world many theologians and scholars have set forth their thoughts in an attempt to define sin. Some have defined it quite broadly making it out that practically everything that a human being does which is not specifically an act of devotion toward God is sin. The problem with that definition is that it degrades the problem of sin which is, God is holy and He will not permit those who are hostile to Him and offensive to His absolute purity to dwell in His presence.

Islamophobe is a word crafted by Moslem leaders and clerics to be used against non-Moslems in order to silence them. A word of encouragement to our pastors, who, now more than ever, are on the front lines of the culture war given the assault on marriage and religious liberty.
John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg, a lesser-known hero of the War for Independence, was a pastor and a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses. In 1775, he preached a sermon on Ecclesiastes 3:1 — “For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven.”
Pastor Muhlenberg closed his sermon with these words:
“In the language of Holy Writ, there is a time for all things. There is a time to preach and a time to fight. And now is the time to fight.”

Ken Ham: Think about it! The abortion holocaust far surpasses the terrible atrocities of Hitler. Could it be that one of the reasons God is withdrawing the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit in this culture and turning people over to debased things (read Romans 1) is because this nation has brutally murdered around 55 million children?
God-fearing people certainly feel outrage over the massive number of unborn children murdered. Our cries of outrage are silenced quickly, though, by a culture that tells us this issue is “political,” and therefore out of a sense of politeness we should keep our views to ourselves. Likewise, if we express a biblical view of marriage and sexuality, we are silenced with accusations of bigotry. Similarly, if we proclaim to believe the Holy Bible is an accurate record of the origins of the universe, our planet, and humanity… we are silenced with ridicule. Abortion and these other issues are touchy issues, and I have found that even in the church we are discouraged from speaking of them openly for fear of driving a brother or sister away from the faith. In this way, our churches are becoming like the culture.

As the Obama administration cracks down on Christian institutions and principles while citing the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment as their supposed justification, the Obama administration conspicuously coddles the religion of Islam in order to display a sort of tolerance to Muslims strictly denied to Christians. Will Christian universities, businesses, churches fold under pressure man or will they stand for God? The blessings from God are for those that endure, not those that wilt like the spineless Lindsey Graham or, equally weak, John Boehner.
Hillary says we have to change our deeply held religious beliefs. We know what she means by that and we should be very concerned by the fact that she said that. On the other hand she is correct in that we need to become more aligned with Yahweh, the one true God. Bill’s wife won’t like that, but that is her problem, not mine. There are a whole lot of people who won’t like that fact but that is their problem, not mine. As for me, I’m going to align myself closer and closer to God.

Anjem Choudray has announced the things that Islam will outlaw when it takes over. Among them are:

But apparently pedophilia will still be accepted. Freemixing is integration, oh we can’t have that according to Islamic teaching.
The alcohol one is kind of funny because Choudray has been known to down more than his share of alcoholic beverages. It is true, however, that all the evidence is from a few years back but Moslems are known to sneak off to strip bars and imbibe in a few drinks. “Promiscuity,” now there is another duplicitous term they seem to like in that only women are required to be chaste but even that has a hypocritical multiple level standard.
If a woman is a paid prostitute or stripper then she is relatively safe from the morality police. I don’t know for sure how that works. If a woman is raped she faces stoning while the man, or men, can usually count on walking away scot-free. Then there is the problem of being improperly chaperoned.
The fact of the matter is that almost everything on Choudray’s list has multiple levels of hypocritical enforcements and/or allowances. But that is the Moslem way of doing things.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering. No, I’m not your standard run-of-the-mill pastor, I have been in many countries and rubbed shoulders with many cultures.
The only prophet Moslems actually care about is Muhammad. “Insult” Mohammad and they fly into a murderous rage; insult Jesus and they really don’t much care. If Moslems actually believed what the Koran teaches then they would have to recognize their obligation to study the New Testament portion of the Holy Bible because Jesus is the holy one of God, according to the Koran, and he will return to earth, according to the Koran, which makes him, Jesus, the actual “last ‘prophet’ of the one true God,” not Mohammad.
The Chattanooga shooter’s manifesto, among other things, revealed the Moslem belief that there is a test coming at the end of this earth-bound life. Warning! Failure to study the Injil guarantees you will fail the test! Study of the Koran is not sufficient; you must study the Injil (New Testament portion of the Holy Bible) and unlock its secret in order to gain paradise.

The irresponsible news media screams about drought and El Nino, but “human-caused” global warming has been documented to have ended nearly 21 years ago. The is why the alarmist have had to keep manipulating the data to try to make it look like AGW was occurring. It is, always has been, about the money and power; it has never been about “saving the earth.”
Ted Danson assured us in 1988 that the oceans would be devoid of life by 1998. Various species were supposed to be going extinct everyday. The “rain forest” was supposed to be all gone before the beginning of the 21st century; only problem, it is still thriving. In 2005, the United Nations Environment Programme predicted that climate change would create 50 million climate refugees by 2010. Hmmm…I wonder if that was the name-change they had planned to instill on “Illegal Immigrants” in order to obfuscate like they did by renaming the “Jungle” to “Rain Forest.” Everyone tends to think of the jungle as something quite durable while, perhaps, rain forest might be fragile. However, even with the name change, it has proven to be quite durable, much to the chagrin of the greenies.
Much to the chagrin of the environmental whackos, real scientists keep finding new species as well as thriving population of some of those the greenies declared extinct. I guess someone forgot to send the memo to the rain forest that it was supposed to stop acting like a jungle and thriving. Unfortunately, for the seals, polar bear populations are thriving.
Back in the seventies, eighties, we had to get rid of Freon even though it was far heavier than air and there was no way for it to get up there where the ozone was at. We had to stop using aerosol spray cans because that heavy compound was creating the hole that really wasn’t there in the ozone. They had maps, they had charts, they showed the us how big the hole was and it was gonna lead to unprecedented levels of skin cancers and it was going to lead to global warming.

A few months ago there were some claims that hundreds of thousands of dead fish were washing up on the beaches of Washington and the fishing industry had been destroyed. I laughed and laughed when I heard that because I had just returned to the midwest from those beaches where this was supposedly happening and therefore was able to proclaim, from first-hand eyewitness testimony, that no such thing was occurring. Of course, I got verbally attacked for daring to speak the truth to the doomsday-porn purveyors and other liberal lunatics. Of course I found it amusing, especially when I was able to say “I’ve got pictures,” and “I can prove the fishing is just fine and all the fish-markets are well-stocked with fresh fish.”
A Florida gun store owner has become the latest target of the Department of Justice.
As Hallinan says in his video, “I’m not going to be asking every person who walks in what their religious background is. That’s not my business, but I do have the right to deny firearms and training to anyone I deem as a threat.”

According to WFLA, the Department of Justice said it will be investigating the store for possible civil rights violations connected to its “Muslim-free” policy.
Predictably CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations, called on the Justice Department to investigate possible federal civil rights violations by the Florida business. They also had their attorney, Jenifer Wicks, send a complaint to then Attorney General Eric Holder when another store owner, Jan Morgan, decided against arming Muslims.
This is not a coffee and donut shop,” Jan Morgan, owner of the Gun Cave Indoor Shooting Range in Hot Springs, Ark., wrote in an online post, “This is a live fire indoor shooting range … Why would I want to rent or sell a gun and hand ammunition to someone who aligns himself with a religion that commands him to kill me?”
Morgan, who says she has “read and studied” the Koran thoroughly, found “109 verses commanding hate, murder and terror against all human beings who refuse to submit or convert to Islam.”
“People who shoot at my range come from all religious backgrounds,” she wrote. “I do not care about their religious beliefs until or unless those beliefs command them to commit violent crimes against innocent people and I witness those crimes increasing, as we all have lately.”
Morgan claims that when she received her license to sell guns, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives informed her “that if we feel ANY reason for concern about selling someone a firearm, even sense that something is not right about an individual, or if we are concerned about that [person’s] mental state, even if they pass a background check, we do not have to sell that person a gun. Two different ATF agents stressed that it is better to err on the side of caution. In other words, a federal agency has given [gun shops] discretion on firearms deals”
So you have a handful of gun shop owners who try to stand up for the lives stolen from us, taking some basic steps, using some common sense, and relying on their instincts to protect their communities, and what happens? They become public enemy number one and the subject of investigation by the Department of Justice, a government agency with unlimited resources, investigators, attorneys and one helluva agenda.
That’s the Obama administration for you. A Muslim extremist kills five American servicemen and the Pentagon tells unarmed recruiters to keep the office window blinds closed and have “casual Friday” every day.
