What are You? Why are you what you are?

Matthew 13:36-40  Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.  He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.  As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. – Jesus, The Christ, as recorded in the Holy Bible

A common saying among the tares is,

“We are all children of God.”

  However that is not what the Scripture or Jesus teaches;

all those who are not genuine followers of The Christ, howsoever good or moral they may seem to be are counted as tares by God and will meet the end appointed unto tares unless they let God “genetically modify” them.  In that same vein, do not kid yourself, it is as though we continue to carry a dormant gene that may become reactivated by the enemy of our soul if we do not stay in close contact with our Savior and Lord.

Stay connected to the vine and be blessed

Pastor Jeffress regarding voting Trump

Robert Jeffress: Christians Not Voting for Donald Trump If He’s the Nominee Are Foolish, Prideful

“It is absolutely foolish to do anything that would allow Hillary Clinton to become the next President of the United States … at least Donald Trump has voiced a belief in a pro-life movement, he has at least talked about religious liberty as he did last Friday, you don’t hear either things coming from the lips of Hillary Clinton,” he continued.

“I believe any Christian who would sit at home and not vote for the Republican nominee … that person is being motivated by pride rather than principle and I think it would be a shame for people to allow Hillary Clinton four or eight years in the White House,” he said.

God Knows me

God, You created this entire universe, so vast and beautiful, so mysterious and wonderful.
You also created me.  You conceived me before I was born.  You knit me together in my mother’s womb.  And You patterned me after yourself.
You love me, even me.  You know every thought before I express it, every word before I speak it.  Yet You love me.
  And You want me to know and love You.   You want that more than anything.
My Cretor, I don’t want to ignore such an intruguing possibility.

God,
I want to know You.  Help me to know You.
