Whether the intent of the slogan, “Black Lives Matter,” is meant to suggest racial superiority is a matter of opinion. An opinion to which the ‘good’ Sheriff is entitled. However, if his opinion is an attempt to minimize the seriousness of police brutality towards citizens of the United States or to disregard the ambivalence of the Justice system, then, his opinion is but an expression of traitorism.
