1. If ordinary civilians could not buy any weapons there would not be a problem with weapons at all.

   It also were ordinary American civilians who imported those weapons and still keep importing many weapons from other countries. and yes perhaps it would be better to put all those sellers of weapons behind prison bars so that such practise shall be stopped.
