Islamophobic is an irrational term

When someone calls you “Islamophobic” the underlying meaning is that somehow you SHOULDN’T be afraid of, or at least concerned about, Islam. So the term itself is irrational, because the use of the word or idea contained in “should” is drawn from an idealistic and not realistic line of reasoning. It’s like telling someone they “shouldn’t” be afraid of anything else that could bring them harm. “Don’t worry about that rabid dog in your front yard. That’s Dogophobic.” And why “shouldn’t” the world be worried about Islam? Fourteen hundred years of historic precedent indicates there is plenty of cause for concern.

Some Muslims are reachable because they are “Muslim in name only” just like some people are “Christian in name only”
