Prayer for RNC Convention, day two

Let’s pray together. Father God, in the name of Jesus, Lord we’re so thankful for the life of Donald Trump. We’re thankful that you are guiding him, that you are giving him the words to unite this party, this country, that we together can defeat the liberal Democratic Party, which seeks to keep us divided and not united. Because we are the United States of America, and we are the conservative party under God.

To defeat every attack that comes against us, to protect the life of Donald Trump, give him the words, give him the space, give him the power and the authority to be the next President of the United States of America, in Jesus’ name — if you believe it, shout Amen! – Pastor Mark Burns

The left is all in a tizzy over the above prayer and calling it horrendous, blasphemous, uncalled for and other things.  I can’t help but notice their similarity to the Pharisees of old:  The left, which tends to gravitate towards the Democrat Party, has been trying for years to kick God out of the public square and put Him in a box to be opened and used only for their self-serving agenda, if at all; Jesus wouldn’t compromise to fit the Pharisees agenda and Jesus won’t compromise to fit the Democrat agenda.  In 2012 at the DNC convention they booed God; video can be found on You Tube if you wish to review the details of that.  Suffice it to say, for now: Amen, Pastor Mark Burns, Amen!

Today the focus at the RNC convention is “Make America Work Again” and we will be reminded of the fact that “The Obama years have delivered anemic economic growth, the lowest labor-force participation rate in 38 years, and job-killing regulations and legislation like Obamacare.”  Around 94 million Americans are out of the workforce and job numbers are being manipulated in an effort to obscure that fact.  Obama and Hillary are both Saul Alinsky disciples and closely tied to, if not completely controlled by, George Soros, a One World Government advocate.  A Hillary Presidency would be, at best, a third term of BHO, delivering the same poor results and continuing to crush middle-class families towards the point of extinction.  Most likely we would see a complete collapse into chaos and the rise of something very evil which we really do not want to see with our own eyes.

2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Let us pray:  Jesus, The Christ, we humbly approach Your throne of grace and ask that You would help us to kneel before You and reject the ways of those on the left who seek to make us compromise Your holy commands and empower us to stand true to Your Word, as found in the Holy Bible, and Your will, as revealed in the Holy Bible and in individuals who truly love You and trust in You, oh Lord, as their Savior.

Oh Lord,we come to you humbly asking that you break the power of the enemy, the devil, who is using George Soros, Black Panthers, BLM, Obama, Hillary, and other anarchists as his puppets.  In Your holy name we render powerless all the plans of the evil one’s schemes, strategies, tactics, lies, deceptions to bring civil war and killing in our nation. In Jesus Holy Name, devil we order you to stand down, we bind your evil works in our nation, we render you and your evil powers impotent and brought to naught, and your evil plans utterly destroyed in the Mighty and Powerful Name of Jesus Amen !!!!!!

Lord, May your hand of protection always surround Trump, Pence, their families and loved ones, as well as their properties.  For all of Trump’s delegates we ask that You protect them also with your powerful presence and special wisdom.  We ask that it will be a peaceful, albeit lively, RNC convention this week.  We ask that your presence will fill the convention hall, much like at the foundation of this nation, and so much so that the lefties will be even more annoyed than they already have been as they sense their schemes being unraveled and exposed.  Open their eyes to Thy Truth and encourage them to embrace it and leave the Democrat Party agenda behind in the ash heaps where it belongs.

We pray for mighty angels to go forth and be stationed all around our police, and the bikers especially, at the convention this week in Jesus Name Amen !  I even request your mighty angels surround all the Anti-Trump protesters and even help them to awaken to Truth, Thy Truth.   We request and speak victory and a successful convention this week.  We ask Lord that You would help “Make America Work Again,” not just in jobs but also in accordance with the founding principles which were based in dependence on You, and that not just for America’s sake but for the whole world’s sake for it is in Jesus Name we pray Amen and Amen !!!

God bless America, land that I love !!  May there be a brand new Great Awakening.

The Follower of the One True God Must be Holy (part 1)

It is an undoubted truth that every doctrine that comes from God leads to God; and that which doth not tend to promote holiness is not of God.  –George Whitfield

George Whitfield (1714-1770)  was an English Anglican cleric who helped spread the Great Awakening in Britain and, especially, in the American colonies. Born in Gloucester, England, he attended Pembroke College, Oxford University, where he met the Wesley brothers. He laid the foundation of Methodism and of the evangelical movement generally.  In 1740, Whitefield traveled to America, where he preached a series of revivals that came to be known as the “Great Awakening”.  Whitefield was quite possibly the most famous religious figure of the 18th century. He exercised influence over thousands in Great Britain and America by his oratory. He preached at least 18,000 times to perhaps a total of 10 million hearers.

He was the seventh child of Thomas Whitefield and Elizabeth Edwards who kept an inn at Gloucester.  Because business at the inn had become poor, Whitefield did not have the means to pay for his tuition.  He therefore entered Oxford as a servitor, the lowest rank of students at Oxford.  In return for free tuition, he was assigned as a minister to a number of higher ranked students.  His duties included teaching them in the morning, helping them bathe, taking out their garbage, carrying their books and even assisting with required written assignments.  He was a part of the “Holy Club” at the University of Oxford with the Wesley brothers, John and Charles. He became the leader of the Holy Club at Oxford after the Wesley brothers departed for Georgia.   An illness, as well as Henry Scougal’s The Life of God in the Soul of Man, influenced him to cry out to God for salvation. Following a religious conversion, he became passionate for preaching his new-found faith. The Bishop of Gloucester ordained him a deacon.

Benjamin Franklin attended a revival meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was greatly impressed with Whitefield’s ability to deliver a message to such a large group. Franklin had previously dismissed, as an exaggeration, reports of Whitefield preaching to crowds of the order of tens of thousands in England. When listening to Whitefield preaching from the Philadelphia court house, Franklin walked away towards his shop in Market Street until he could no longer hear Whitefield distinctly. He then estimated his distance from Whitefield and calculated the area of a semicircle centered on Whitefield. Allowing two square feet per person he computed that Whitefield could easily be heard by over thirty thousand people in the open air.

Franklin admired Whitefield as a fellow intellectual but thought Whitefield’s plan to run an orphanage in Georgia would lose money.  He published several of Whitefield’s tracts and was impressed by Whitefield’s ability to preach and speak with clarity and enthusiasm to large crowds.  Franklin was an ecumenist and therefore approved of Whitefield’s appeal to members of many denominations, but was not, like Whitefield, an evangelical.  In his autobiography, Franklin famously wrote that he was a “thoroughgoing Deist,” which precludes the idea that God is personal, though some suggest that Franklin was actually a bit more traditional in his views, e.g., his speech at the Constitutional Convention where he recited the verse that not a single sparrow falls to the ground without God’s notice; how then could the Constitution convention hope to succeed without God’s careful oversight?   After one of Whitefield’s sermons, Franklin noted the:

wonderful… change soon made in the manners of our inhabitants.  From being thoughtless or indifferent about religion, it seem’d as if all the world were growing religious, so that one could not walk thro’ the town in an evening without hearing psalms sung in different families of every street.”

In terms of theology, Whitefield, unlike John Wesley, was a supporter of Calvinism. The two differed on eternal election, final perseverance, and sanctification, but were mostly friends and co-workers in the salvation of souls.

Whitefield chastised other clergy for teaching only “the shell and shadow of religion” because they did not hold the necessity of a new birth without which a person would be “thrust down into Hell.”  In his 1740-1741 visit to America (as he done in England), he attacked other clergy (mostly Anglican [Calvinists]) calling them “God’s persecutors”. He said that Edmund Gibson, Bishop of London with supervision over Anglican clergy in America, knew no “more of Christianity, than Mahaomet….”

In 1740, Whitefield published attacks on “the works of two of Anglicanism’s revered seventeenth-century authors, John Tillotson and Richard Allestree.

A terrible tragedy that would not have happened if Obama had not been the kind of person he is….he thinks he is above the laws, he hates whites, he hates America and just hates everything American and he has agitated the young blacks to be as he is and do as he does…he has taught by doing….and they believe they are above the law because of Obama and his ilk and they hate whites because of leftist propaganda and they hate America without even understanding why.  They are so much like Obama…mean nasty traitors….so I lay the killings of whites and cops at Obama’s and Soros’ hoofs….  Oh did I not yet mention Soros?  He is the one pulling Obama’s strings because he owns Obama and much of the media.

Trump, the Voter’s Choice

One thing I think the party needs to realize is that it’s the”PEOPLE” that decides who to vote for not the gop or the dnc the people, and we have spoken we don’t want Jeb or Cruz we want Trump so get over it and do what you said.  All Republicans agreed to follow whoever the people decide the nominee is and we have chosen Trump so do what you said you would do instead of being hypocritical like the Democrats.
