Politics and Religion

“Nothing frustrates me more than to hear church leaders boast about not being “political.” They hide behind this excuse for skirting the controversial issues of the day, such as the sanctity of human life, the definition of marriage, sin, or righteousness in the culture. None of these issues is political in nature. Each is moral and biblical in every sense of the word. Can you imagine Jesus Christ saying to the Pharisees, “I won’t be addressing the social issues because they are political in nature? He was crucified for confronting wickedness in high places. Paul and Silas and the other apostles were thrown in prison and eventually executed for being “political.” Reverend Martin Luther King sat in a Birmingham jail, writing about the political realities of racism. It would cost him his life. I believe many leaders who call themselves by the name of Jesus Christ will someday have to account for their cowardice in the face of abject evil. I pray that God will give me the courage to stand unflinchingly for righteousness when, like Bonhoeffer on the gallows, I am confronted by the forces of evil. I believe that time is coming for all true believers in biblical truth.” – Dr. James Dobson

Pray for America

The American government is broken. The Federal Judiciary is preventing our duly elected President to operate as an executive. What that mean is that our government is actually an Oligarchy, where the few rule the many. The few being the Federal Judges, the many being the American people. If an executive can’t write an executive order, which not one of them have been in violation of the Constitution, but rather simply trying to keep America safe, serve as evidence to me, that America is closely reaching the point where we will soon be beyond repair. I think another civil war may happen in this country very soon. As they say, history repeats itself.

“You know what the left ultimately is most afraid of here? Not that Trump is going to fail, but that he’s actually going to succeed.” — Laura Ingraham

Snowflakes

They say to appreciate the beauty of a snowflake it is necessary to stand out in the cold.

Now there is a profundity in those words which extend far beyond the apparent subject matter.  Nevertheless as regards the snowflake I tend to prefer a more pleasant clime as opposed to the places where the snowflakes reside.  Those locales where the sun tends to hang low in the sky and then seem to soon succumb to the forces of darkness rather than climb majestically high above everything and provide the ample illumination and warmth which would melt the snowflakes are a bit too cold for my being.

Prayer for elections on November 7, 2017

Father God, we pray that in this election, Your children will get out and vote. We pray for spiritual wisdom now for people to see and to know who they should vote for.

We pray that evil will not win in any county, in any state, and in any of the higher offices of the land. I pray that evil is not allowed to even win in the lower offices.  Father, we pray that the truth will come out, and that any candidate in any of these races across the country, that have any ill will gains for their purpose to get into office for any position will not succeed. We pray that only the true, the humble, and the good hearted people will succeed in this election.

Lord, we know that the ones we want to win are all not believers, but pray that one day they will run into Your Son Jesus and have their lives transformed for ever as He did for us. We pray that all of Your children across the globe will in the next few days get on their knees, surrender to You, weep for our country, and repent.

Lord this land is Your land and we ask You to heal our nation. Bring us out of “Egypt”, bring us out of “wilderness” where we have been wandering in circles, and bring us to the “Promise Land”. We pray for the Holy Spirit to go across this nation like the wind and start a revival and a real Great Awakening.  For men and women of God stand up and say “No More!” We will not allow evil to prevail, we will not sit back and let our brothers and sisters be persecuted, we will not let our babies be killed in the womb, and we will not turn our cities and country into Sodom and Gomorrah.
Father, thank You for giving us a voice. Thank You for giving us the right to vote. Thank You for all of those who have died for our freedoms and voting privileges. We all come together as God’s children, the chosen saints, to declare this election and this day. “Chose today for yourselves, whom you will serve, For me and my household, we will serve the Lord” We collectively pray this in Your Son’s Precious and Holy Name, The Name above all names, the King of kings, The Lord of lords, the President of presidents, the Senator of senators, the Congressman of congressmen, the Representative of representatives, The Judge of judges, the Supreme Court Justice of justices, the Governor of governors, the Mayor of mayors, the Councilman of councilmen, the Attorney General of attorney generals, our Teacher, the Lover of our souls, The Christ – Jesus The Christ, Amen! Hallelujah

Soli Deo Gloria – Glory to God Alone!

Politics and Personal Responsibility

“Every man should be responsible to others, nor should anyone be allowed to do just as he pleases; for where absolute freedom is allowed there is nothing to restrain the evil which is inherent in every man. But the principle of responsibility secures that which is the greatest good in states; the right persons rule and are prevented from doing wrong, and the people have their due.” – Aristotle

“The fate of good men who refuse to become involved in politics is to be ruled by evil men.” ~ Edmund Burke

Christians and Politics

The time has come that Christians must vote for honest men and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them. . . . Christians have been exceedingly guilty in this matter. But the time has come when they must act differently. . . . Christians seem to act as if they thought God did not see what they do in politics. But I tell you He does see it – and He will bless or curse this nation according to the course the Christians take in politics. – Charles G. Finney

2nd Chronicles 7:14

Christians and Politics

The Church must take right ground in regard to politics.  The time has come that Christians must vote for honest men and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord may very well curse them for being partakers of evil.  Deocrats ARE still the party of slavery – pretty much always have been and they still are, they just use different methods today to entrap and enslave than what they used to.

Politics are a part of religion in a country such as America and Christians must do their duty to the country as part of their duty to God.  Very many Christians seem to act as if they think that God does not see what they do regarding politics.  I can assure of this; He does see it and He will bless or curse this nation according to the course Christians take in politics.  Donald Trump as President is the result of many Christians earnestly praying in accordance with 2nd Chronicles 7:14 and a proof that God is willing to give us a chance at returning this country to godly principles.  We must continue praying and working to remove the left from all positions of power.  As that happens God will bless us once again.
