The left doesn’t just dislike Western Values; they hate them. I am fully aware that to some that may sound a bit overboard but it is an observable fact. When you realize or recall the fact that Western Values have Judeo-Christian Values as the foundation stones then it begins to become a bit more clear why the left has the opposition it does to those values.
