If you do not worship God, you worship something, and nine times out of ten it will be yourself.  You have a duty to worship God, not because He will be imperfect and unhappy if you do not, but because you will be imperfect and unhappy. – Fulton J. Sheen

Tolerance

Tolerance, when it means indifference to right and wrong, eventually ends in a hatred of what is right. The left is like a broken analog style clock – only occasionally correct.

In the Scripture right has to do with what is honorable in the sight of God while “left” stands for a life without God, a life for oneself, materialistic, and selfish (see Ecclesiastes 10:2-3).

Interestingly enough, that plays out in the same manner in the physical and political realm as well …for out of the abundance of the heart…

Christian Purity

The great challenge for the Christian is that he must love the world without becoming worldly.

Christian Joy

The greatest joy of a Christian is to give joy to Christ. – C. H. Spurgeon

Wake up Church

Since Satan could not kill the Church by roaring at her like a lion, he is currently trying to crush her by hugging her like a bear.

Atheists

There is no bigot like the atheist.  Atheism is indeed the most daring of all [bigoted] dogmas … for it is the assertion of a universal negative.

There are arguments for atheism, and they do not depend, and never did depend, upon science.  They are arguable enough, as far as they go, upon a general survey of life; only it happens to be a superficial survey of life. – G. K. Chesterton

Belief

When men cease to believe in God it is not that they begin to believe in nothing but that they are susceptible to believe in anything.
