Messiah feeds a Multitude

6:30  And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

6:31  And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

6:32  And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.

They head out for some R&R (rest and relaxation) on the north east side of the lake near Bethsaida.  The wind may have been calm or they experienced a bit of a headwind which gave those who guessed or may have even overheard their intended destination a chance to go around the head of the lake and arrive shortly before or about the same time as Jesus and the disciples.  As they were going, the numbers have swelled.

6:33  And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him.

6:34  And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

When Jesus stepped ashore, He could have been annoyed, instead, He recognized their need and began to minister to them.

6:35  And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:

6:36  Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.

After Jesus has been teaching for a few hours, the disciples tell Jesus that He better let these people go so that perhaps they may be able to go find some food.  Jesus says, “You feed ‘em.”  Actually, He is reminding them that they need to perform the duty of hospitality.  The disciples probably all blanched and experienced something akin to a panic attack at this point.  The mission they had been on expected them to depend on the law of hospitality and Jesus has just told them that it applies now, with and for these people.  They know He has spoken accurately.  Therefore, it is a wide-eyed, nervous, response that is uttered when they tell Him it would take six month’s, or more, wages to be able to pay for the food to feed all these people.  Additionally the nearby villages most likely could not have accommodated this crowd.  As for the food, all they have been able to come up with is one person’s lunch consisting of 5 small buns and the equivalent of two sardines.

6:37  He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?

6:38  He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.

6:39  And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.

When Jesus told them to have the people sit down the disciples, probably hesitated, thought about some of the things they have already seen Jesus do as well as what He has enabled them to do, and then they followed His instructions.

6:40  And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

6:41  And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

Jesus did not distribute the food Himself.  He allowed His disciples to do this.  He allows and desires that we should do (Eph 2:10 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them”).  He’s still got this habit of allowing us to be participants in the work He does on this earth and in our fellow man.  We are expected to do good works for the glory of God and the benefit of our fellow man.

6:42  And they did all eat, and were filled.

They had plenty to eat.  Attempts to explain away this miracle by those who harbor disbelief in their heart are completely inadequate.  If Jesus really was who He claimed to be then the miracle presents no difficulties whatsoever.  God had promised that when the true shepherd came the dessert would become a rich pasture where the sheep would be gathered and fed (Ezekiel 34:23-31), and here the Messiah feasts with followers in the desert (Isaiah 25:6-9).  Jesus is the Shepherd who provides for all our needs so that we lack nothing (Psalm 23:1).  The Holy One Called Isa

Allah

Allah is not God

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8

Okay, I realize the statement in the picture is not quite right because Muhammad is, technically, the messenger of Allah but the other part is absolutely correct.

Does Allah answer your prayers?  The God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob answers my prayers.  I follow and listen to the holy one of God who is the true “messenger” of the one true God and you can begin to learn the truth about Him by reading the Injil Markus, called “Mark” in the Holy Bible.

The Truth will set you free

Wrong Views of God

Wrong Views of God.

The above phrase used to take you to a blog that mentions several different views of God which include Atheism, Agnosticism, and Deism.

Under the Deism definition, in addition to the definition, you would have found:

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) Then again, the deist will deny the deity of Jesus. They also deny God’s intervention in miracles such as the flood, the Red Sea, all prophesy, and the miracles of Jesus and the early church (or the church throughout time for that matter). Although the phrase is so used it has almost become cliche’, it is still true that God has not called us to a religion but to a relationship. The deist would claim that such a relationship is not possible. To go further, any logically consistent deist would have to claim that all of the millions of Christians who claim to have such a relationship are deluded. Any view of God that denies the very real experience of so many is itself a delusion.

Many who have attempted to rewrite American history to suit a certain agenda attempt to make the claim that George Washington was a deist.  That is a claim that could not be further from the truth.  The first U.S. President was most definitely NOT a deist as he was a man of habitual prayer who fully expected God’s intervention and celebrated that divine intervention at many points along his life journey.

We must realize that American Christians, Patriots, and our American Constitution are standing in the way of Globalism, World Tyranny, and the Mark of the Beast System.  Global government cannot exist without first getting rid of America and out Constitution.  That’s why the leftists are trying so hard to take us down; we stand in their way.

We need to get back to right views of God and the sooner the better.  Have you read His book?  It is a best seller and a very special revelation of who He is.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath

2:23  And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

2:24  And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

Deuteronomy 23:25 allowed the disciples and the people to do this.  Tradition established by that time and the Mishnah said they could not do this on the Sabbath as though their tradition were greater than the Law given to them by Moses.  This is quite similar to claiming the Hadith is greater than the Koran by certain Muslim teaching for if it is then, the Quran, is diminished in value beyond measure and perhaps an admission that the present day Koran has been corrupted.

The Pharisees had quickly pounced and pointed out the multiple transgressions they believed the disciples had committed.  It was obvious they expected Jesus to reprimand His disciples and command them to stop.  Instead He spoke to these “Imams” in their own language and chastised them in His own way which may be a wee bit hard for us to see because we are, fortunately, not under their traditions and rules although we must remember that we are not at liberty to do as we please because we ought to obey the one who is Lord of the Sabbath which is the kalimat Allah, Isa.  The one true God made the day of prayer to make our lives better and fuller.

2:27  And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

2:28  Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Religious tradition had so multiplied and twisted the restrictions, rules, and requirements for keeping the Sabbath that the burden became almost unbearable.  However living a holy life is not simply the keeping of requirements but the seeking of the One who set the requirements in order that He might be found.  The requirements set forth in the first covenant were not intended to drive us from Him but to make us understand our need for Him.  Likewise the first six chapters of Romans in the New Covenant are intended for the same purpose.

3:1  And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

3:2  And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

3:3  And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

3:4  And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

3:5  And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

3:6  And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

This, 3:1-6, is a demonstration of the truth proclaimed in 2:28.  The Pharisees were plotting evil against Jesus while Jesus was ready to do good, therefore it is obvious who was guilty of breaking the Sabbath although the people probably did not realize it at the time because of the erroneous teaching they had long listened to.  (What if Abu Bakr did not teach accurately?)  What if the one who compiled and created the Quran was a friend of the djinn and was sent to deceive and empower himself under the guise of preserving truth?  We are told he faithfully re-produced the accurate words but where is the proof?  Why is there more than one version, in Arabic, of the Koran?

3:7  But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

3:8  And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.

The geographical list shows that people were traveling great distances, for that day and age, to see and hear the holy one from God.  Will that generation rise up and condemn this generation at the last day for its lack of effort to seek out and learn Isa’s teaching?  Many Muslims claim they respect and honor Isa but they are actually guilty of insulting Isa because they do not read or pay any attention to what he taught when he was healing and teaching the people.  Mohammad said the Injil is not corrupt.  The Quran says the Injil is not corrupt.  Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbas said the Al-kitab (Holy Bible) is not corrupt.  Muhammad Abduh Sayyid Ahmad Khan (died 1905) said “As far as the text of the [Holy] Bible is concerned, it has not been altered.”  Furthermore, Muhammad Abduh said the “charge of corruption of the Biblical texts makes no sense at all.”  The problem with “the Al-kitab (Holy Bible) has been corrupted” argument is that those who make that claim are ignorant of first century history and/or the whole text of the Injil (New Testament portion of the Holy Bible).

It is not wise to insult Isa.  He has the words of life from the one true God.  It is true that many who claim to be his followers (Christians) are corrupted but that is only because they do not truly follow his teaching as revealed in the Holy Bible but that is no excuse, it does not excuse you, for not knowing and studying the words of Isa as preserved in the Injil.

The reason some of those who call themselves “Christian” do not seem to know much about the Holy Bible or genuine Christianity is because they actually are not Christians as is proven by their lives.  As a Muslim, almost all of what you have been told by the Imams about Christianity is taqiyya.  But do not be angry at your Imam, because they lied to him to.  Even among those who actually regularly attend a Bible-believing Church one must look carefully to see how their life matches up to the teachings of Isa in the Injil.  So how can one know?  First pray to the God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and then become familiar with the New Testament portion of the Holy Bible and then request, in prayer, to the one true God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for assistance in knowing the truth; this is not done by simply using a memorized prayer.  He’s listening because He does care about you.  Because God cares about you the Injil is not corrupt, it may be hard to understand, at first, but ask Him to help you and to direct you.  Ask the one true God to help you find real followers of Jesus.

Isa expels demons, Imams Can’t

1:34  And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

The demons knew and understood Him to be the Messiah, the one true and holy Messiah; Isa, Al-Masih, is kalimat-Allah and wadjih according to the Quran and for that reason they were powerless against Isa.

Many that were possessed with devils – Dr. Lightfoot gives two sound reasons why Judea, in our Lord’s time, abounded with demoniacs. First, Because they were then advanced to the very height of impiety. See what Josephus, their own historian, says of them: There was not (said he) a nation under heaven more wicked than they were. See on Rom_1:1 (note). Secondly, Because they were then strongly addicted to magic, and so, as it were, invited evil spirits to be familiar with them. It seems strange to find men at this distance of time questioning the truth of that which neither scribes nor Pharisees then doubted; nor did they ever object against the pretensions of Christ and his apostles to cast them out. And, if the whole business of demonism had been only a vulgar error, (as “wise” men now tell us), what a fine opportunity had the “wise” men then, to unmask the whole matter, and thus pour contempt on the pretensions of our blessed Lord and his followers, who held it to be one proof of their Divine mission, that demons were subject to them! – Adam Clarke

It has been said, “Build a better mousetrap and the public will beat a path to your doorstep even if you live in the wilderness.”  Unfortunately the crowds were only coming because they wanted something; unfortunately the crowds only thought they were coming to see a wondrous physician; fortunately the crowds were coming.

Sadly, for one prayer that goes up to the God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in days of prosperity ten thousand go up in times of adversity.  Only prayers to the God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are of any value, prayers to any other god are useless.

Try Jesus, if you don’t like Him, the devil will always take you back.

Many a man who has never prayed when the sun was shining begins to pray when the cold winds come.  So many people regard religion as belonging “to the ambulance corps and not to the firing-line of life.”  Therefore religion, to them, is merely a crisis affair.  Only when life has gotten into a mess do they begin to remember God, but it is in the sunshine times that we need to polish the communication lines so that when the darkness settles over us we don’t suddenly find ourselves trying to figure out how to establish a connection.  God is not someone to be sought only in the day of misfortune; He is someone to be loved and remembered every day of our lives.

The god of Ishmael does not love you; The God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob loves you.

Although the recognition of one’s failure to come to Him during the sunny time should not be allowed to hinder the seeking of Him in the dark time – it is just so much better, so much wiser, and so much safer to remember Him in the sunny time when one may be assured of finding Him.

And healed all that were sick – Not a soul did the Lord Jesus ever reject, who came to him soliciting his aid. Need any sinner despair who comes to him, conscious of his spiritual malady, to be healed by his merciful hand? – Adam Clarke

Need any Muslim despair who comes to the God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?  He loves you and wants you to know who Jesus really is; Jesus is the holy one of God who knows the true path to eternal life.

Injil Markus 1:35  And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Away from the disciples and other distractions, He started His day in private communication with the one true God.

Injil Markus 1:36  And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

1:37  And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

1:38  And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

Simon Peter, upon finding Him, tells Jesus that people are starting to gather at his house again.  Jesus informs Simon Peter that the gospel message must be taken to other towns also.  His message is not to be confined to a single area, no matter how well received in that place.  This would also give the people a chance to more carefully consider the gracious words they have already heard Al-Masihu-Isa speak unto them.  As regards prayer; prayer doesn’t do our work for us; prayer strengthens us for the work that must be done.

The God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob speaks

Injil Markus 1:15  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

The Messiah, Jesus, came to set up the kingdom of God among men so that we might be brought into willing subjection to it, and therefore might find salvation in it, and He presented, through the preaching of this gospel, a power going along with it.  It did not go along with traditional thought that men had invented to claim what the kingdom of God would look like when it arrived but it was in accordance with His rule book, the Holy Bible.

The descendants of Father Abraham, have to get right in accordance with the Messiah’s teaching which was in line with the prophets of old but not necessarily in line with the Oral Law and popular Rabbis old who had been adding their own points of view into the mix in the same way Imams do today.  Imams today are adding their own unauthorized opinions to the word of God and then trying to tell their followers that they must not question what they have been told; not only is that taqqiya, what they are doing is shirk of the most evil kind.

Jesus came preaching the good news regarding the kingdom of God.  Unfortunately, it does not appear that the people were as fully aware that the time for the arrival of the promised Messiah, the holy one from God, had come as they really should have been.  They had the sure and accurately preserved word of God and of their prophets but they were not as well versed in them or the signs of the times as they could have and should have been.

They were hoping for Messiah to come in a way differently than the manner in which He came and with a different message.  Muslims have the same problem the people back then had, they are following the traditions of men and ignoring the voice of the God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  Sorry, but the hadiths and fitnahs were written many, many years after when the Quran was supposedly written and they are only man’s words.  Those who put their trust in them will be very disappointed when Jesus, The Messiah, returns.

Jesus was preaching the good news of truth, “You have heard, but I say,” He said over and over again.  It other words He told them and people of our day that it is time to stop with your man-made traditions and get back to what the Word of God actually says.

Jesus preached the good news of hope.  (Col 1:21-23)  The ancient world was a pessimistic world; in some ways our world is a quite pessimistic one as well.  Seneca spoke of “Our helplessness in necessary things.”  In their struggles for goodness men were defeated.  The coming of Jesus brings hope to the hopeless heart.

The optimist says the cup is half full.  The pessimist says the cup is half empty.  The pragmatist says the cup is too big for the job.  Today, because of Jesus, the child of God (the true Christian) can say, “My cup runneth over.”

The God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob Speaks

John had quite likely lost track of his cousin during his own scholarly and Godly pursuits.  On the other hand he may even have tried to recruit Him into the Essenes because he had always known there was something very special about his younger cousin although he did not know precisely what it was.  Perhaps he was still hoping that his cousin would leave the carpenter shop and join him in preparing the path for the mighty Messiah who would manifest miracles and whom he knew was due to arrive at almost at any time now.  Perhaps Jesus (Isa) had even gone out to hear John preach a time or two.

John’s message of preparation also pointed to something much better than mere water baptism because the Messiah was coming and the Messiah has the ability to baptize people with the Spirit of God.  Water can cleanse the outside only but the Spirit of the one true God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob can cleanse our innermost being.  John’s goal was to get people turned around from the path they were on and redirected towards the one who was greater than he; the one whom all men, without exception, need.  Remember this, the teachings that Isa will return show that we really need to know who Isa is and what He taught and expects from each one of us according to the Holy Bible.

Injil Markus 1:9  And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

Jesus probably began His public ministry 27AD, when He was approximately 30 years of age.  As far as we know, he had spent most of his life in Nazareth.  Jesus approached the water where John was preaching and baptizing and perhaps John thought for a brief moment “Cool, here comes my cousin, perhaps he’ll consent to being part of my ministry preparing everyone for the arrival of The Messiah.”  Mark does not relate the brief exchange that took place between the two, which is something which was left to another gospel writer to tell us more about.  But suddenly John recognizes who Jesus really is because the God revealed the truth to him and he exclaims “I need to be baptized by You.”  And John begins telling his own followers, “Follow Jesus, He is the one I have been prophesying and preaching about.  Jesus is the Holy One of God.”

1:10  And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

1:11  And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

For those who have eyes to see something very important has been revealed.

John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance intended for those who were sorry for their sins and desired to express their determination to be completely done with them.  What did such a baptism have to do with Jesus?  Wasn’t He the sinless one and therefore such a baptism would be irrelevant and unnecessary in His case?  Short answer, yes.

Jesus took upon Himself the likeness of sinful flesh in that although He was perfectly pure and unspotted, He chose to be washed as if He had been polluted.  Therefore for our sake He sanctified Himself so that we also might be sanctified and be baptized with Him.  Jesus was and is the holy one from the one true God and He gave us the pattern of living the one true God desires to see reflected in each one of us.

1:12  And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

1:13  And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

“As soon as” He was baptized there was a voice from Heaven affirming Him and then He went into the wilderness for a period of time.  Matthew and Luke expand upon that wilderness experience but the Gospel of Jesus according to Mark marches on without even pausing for a breath.

John’s heraldic ministry was now wrapping up and it had accomplished much of that which it was supposed to.  Better results would have been nice but there was a resistance to his message.  Unfortunately that is the old, old story in that so many oppose God and His true messengers.  Fortunately, however, some do pay attention and obey.  So John exits the stage and the main feature begins because the long-awaited mighty messiah who manifests miracles is taking center stage.

1:14  Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

1:15  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

The good news from, as well as about the one true God, the God of Father Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  He was calling for a change of heart and lifestyle.  He also had the message that the one true God actually cares about and loves us enough to send Isa (PBUH) to us to demonstrate that fact.  He is still trying to communicate that message to any who will stop and listen today.

Messiah Jesus is the true path

Spiritual, metaphorical sense, not physical.  Every time the Quran denounces the sonship of ‘Uzayr or Jesus it presents an inaccurate view of the Bible based on Muhammad’s misunderstanding.  It is spiritual in nature for Jesus is the holy one from the one true God even as supported by Sura 5:18.  Jesus had no sin for which he was subject to punishment making him not only a prophet but truly more than a prophet for in his spiritual nature he is truly the holy one from God, pbuh.  Sura 3:45-49 and Sura 19:27-35 add further support, after all is there any record that anyone else ever spoke from the cradle?  However let it be noted the Holy Bible makes no such claim that such an incident ever took place but it does have some very important words which He said.

Injil Markus 1:2  As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

1:3  The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

That refers to the Old Testament (Torah) book of Isaiah 40:3    Peter’s secretary starts the story of Jesus with the visions of the seers from long ago.  Which prophets are not here specified because the first audience to which this document was targeted would likely not have recognized the names of those prophets while anyone familiar with them should readily be able to recall which ones it is to whom he specifically refers.  The disciple called Matthew is the one who was directed by the one true God to give us more details in order that the picture of Messiah’s ministry and dealings with men would be better revealed.

Even the Stoics believed in the ordered plan of God.  “The things of God are full of foresight.  All things flow from Heaven.” – Marcus Aurelius, abt 170 AD

Isaiah and Malachi each spoke concerning the forerunner who would prepare the paths.  Malachi’s prophecy was first and foremost a threat; the priests were failing in their duty, the offerings were blemished and shoddy.  Therefore the Temple was to undergo a cleansing; some mosques and churches today need a thorough cleansing and a returning to the correct paths of the one true God and they, just like the Sadducees and Pharisees, won’t be too happy about it when it, the cleansing, begins to take place.  But wherever genuine Christianity goes it brings a purification that is acceptable in the eyes of the one true God.

Wherever Christ and genuine Christianity are allowed to come and be, the Christian faith cleanses from all corruption.  Unfortunately, when Christianity becomes corrupted it loses its efficacy and becomes part of the problem rather than the solution.  Muhammad respected the Holy Bible but not those who claimed to be students of the book yet were not following its instructions.  He, Muhammad, claimed that for the first 200 years following Isa all His followers had remained true to His teachings.  Even today, not all who claim to be Christians are following the teaching of Jesus but we who truly follow the holy one of God,  can be found.

The Pharisees had started out as the holiness of heart and life sect of Judaism but over time they had failed to maintain the inward purity and then John came, preaching repentance and baptism.  Unfortunately, pride got in their way and they failed to see what they should have seen.  Don’t let pride get in your way and cause you to be unable to hear from the living Messiah who is still willing to show you the true path.

Repentance – involves a deliberate choice to turn from sin to righteousness, and John’s emphasis on repentance recalls the preaching of the Biblical prophets, praise be upon them.  God grants forgiveness whenever there is repentance.  John was preaching a repentance-baptism, which is a baptism that is accompanied by repentance.  Now baptism was not new to John’s audience.  They were very familiar with baptism for those who were not descendants of Abraham, but had they had not been taught that all the descendants of Abraham also need to repent and be baptized.

Injil Markus tells us about Messiah

Inil Markus is a gospel of activity and energy.  No story of His infancy.  Injil Markus starts with “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus the Christ.”  It portrays the active career of Jesus on earth.  Its form is that of an original dialogue which is demonstrated by some abrupt and broken sentences.  This particular gospel account lays an emphasis upon the works rather than the words of Jesus.  One Greek word is translated as: “immediately,” “anon,” “forthwith,” “by and by,” “as soon as,” “shortly,” and “straightway.”  It is used 41 times in this gospel.  The last meaning is truest to the Greek idea and may be called Mark’s characteristic word.

Injil Markus is an account of vividness and details.  It shows the awe and wonder produced upon those who were actually there to see and hear the works and teaching of Jesus.  This Gospel relates the actions of Jesus and His disciples and the multitudes.  Jesus “looks around,” “sat down,” “went before.”  He is grieved, hungry, angry, and indignant, wonders, sleeps, rests, and is moved with pity.  He is a man but He is no ordinary man for He is far and away much more than that.  He is holy.  He is a greater than Hercules or any other hero whom men have ever encountered.  He is certainly vastly superior to Mohammad, who is dead and will not be back.  If you insist on calling Jesus a prophet, then you must acknowledge that He is the final prophet because He lives and He is returning.

Injil Markus is a gospel of power over the evil spirits.  Here, as in no other gospel, the devils are shown to be inferior to Jesus.  They recognize Him as the holy one from God and acknowledge their subordination to Him by pleading with Him as regards what shall be done with them (5:7, 12).  Messiah has power to still the storm, control disease and death, and even power to conquer the unseen worlds of the jinn and the angels.  The Roman, who found deity in a Caesar could submit to one who had shown Himself King in every realm and whose kingdom was both omnipotent and everlasting, both visible and unseen, both temporal and spiritual.

Injil Markus is a gospel of wonder.  Everywhere He goes Jesus is a man of wonder that strikes awe and terror in those who see and hear Him.   Some of these may be seen, especially in the Greek, in 1:27; 2:13; 4:41; 5:28; 6:50; 7:37.  Archbishop Thompson puts it this way, “The wonder-working Son … sweeps over His kingdom swiftly and meteor-like” thereby striking awe into the hearts of the on-lookers.  He is “a man heroic and mysterious, who inspires not only a passionate devotion but also amazement and adoration.”

It is the best gospel to be used to introduce the real Isa to those who really have not had the opportunity to hear the whole truth about Isa [Jesus].  This gospel shows, more than any other, Jesus was no wimp – He was a man’s man.  Even the Koran claims that Jesus (Isa) was a holy man while Muhammad clearly was not.  Jesus (Isa) will return to this earth, Muhammad will not.  Seek and learn.  It is the Holy Bible that accurately tells what Messiah will do when He returns, not the traditions of men or other prophets or their books.

However, in his appearance, we need to remember, Messiah appeared to be just an ordinary person which is the reason why so many failed to see and understand in that day what they should have seen and understood.  The one true God was trying to show them truth but they themselves had closed their own eyes to the one who cared about them as well as you; they had chosen to remain disbelievers in the Messiah and therefore committed shirk.  Yes, this is a true saying:

The one true God cares about you.
