A Man Fell in a Hole

A

President Trump and Religious Freedom

For those who claim Trump isn’t a Christian, today he is speaking at the U.N. on religious rights/freedoms, not on climate change!

Dems have said they embrace those who are hostile to Christianity and those with no religion. Vote for them and they will continue to go after Christians.

We must support President Trump for many reasons including protecting Christians and America. He is battling evil.

Pastors, Now is the Time to Stand Against Tyranny!

Pastors, Now is the Time to Stand Against Tyranny!

There are tens of millions of evangelical Christians in the United States, and millions do not participate in politics even though the Bible says that the civil magistrate is a “minister of God” (Rom. 13:4). Millions of these Christians don’t participate in the political process because their pastors are either afraid to address political issues or they believe that Christians would not get mixed up in politics.

Either reason is contrary to the Bible and the history of this once-great nation. “To the pulpit, the PURITAN PULPIT, we owe the moral force which won our Independence,”John Wingate Thornton wrote in The Pulpit of the American Revolution. Too many Christians don’t believe or know this history.

Many Christians believe they can be neutral. But there is no neutrality. By not engaging culture at the political level, another worldview dominates and impacts all of us. We must then live under their standard, as we are doing today.

Founding American ministers of the gospel confronted the issues of their day by appealing to the people in terms of the Bible. The annual “Election Sermon” still “bears witness that our fathers ever began their civil year and its responsibilities with an appeal to Heaven, and recognized Christian morality as the only basis of good laws.”In addition, the clergy were often consulted by the civil authorities in the colonies, “and not infrequently the suggestions from the pulpit, on election days and other special occasions, were enacted into laws. The statute-book, the reflex of the age, shows this influence. The State was developed out of the Church.”

The diminishing light of civil liberty in this land is linked directly to the lack of preaching on it in today’s pulpits…

Does the Qur’an have the same evidence that the Bible does?

Does the Qur’an have the same evidence that the Bible does?.

There are a lot of reasons for doubting that the Qur’an is inspired.

-It contradicts known facts of science. For example, it teaches that the sun actually descends down into a muddy spring on the earth (Surah 18:86). You could get away with a statement like that in certain parts of the world in the seventh century. Obviously, today, we know that the sun is actually on a circuit through space.

-The Qur’an contradicts known facts of history. For example, it denies that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified on a cross (Surah 4:157), something that has been substantiated not only by the Bible but also by extrabiblical sources, such as the Jewish Talmud and Flavius Josephus.

-The Qur’an has multiple internal inconsistencies.

There are no good reasons to accept the Qur’an as inspired Scripture. The most popular evidence that Muslims try to give for the divine inspiration of the Qur’an is its literary beauty, but this is a highly questionable means of testing a document for divine inspiration. What would stop us from believing that Shakespeare’s writings were also divinely inspired? After examining these things, it would be safe to conclude that the Qur’an is not an inspired book.

Christians (sad to say) are a huge part of why we are where we are. Many do not vote or lack any political understanding. Even more are siding with the liberal ideology via the whole “coexist” notion or the “love everyone at all costs” beliefs.
There is a HUGE misunderstanding about love thy neighbor whilst having biblical convictions…HELLO we are called to do both!
Ugh come on church WAKE UP!
