“Don’t let Mike Johnson and RINO Republicans lie to you … they have the gavel.
They could write a short bill today with a clean 3-month CR, only adding hurricane relief, zero pork, and no raise.
Then if Democrats vote against it, they can honestly say they voted against hurricane relief victims.
It’s that freaking simple.
They don’t want to because they’re used to getting themselves, their lobbyists, and their donors filthy rich off the backs of hardworking Americans.
ENOUGH !!!” — @ catturd
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRESIDENT TRUMP AND HIS TEAM AND CONGRESS (BOTH DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS) IS THAT DONALD TRUMP AND HIS TEAM ARE TRYING TO SERVE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC AND CONGRESS IS SERVING THEMSELVES.
“Think about this: by the end of the Trump administration, because of the massive sanctions we had put on the oil and gas sector, the Iranians had about $4 billion left in foreign reserves. That’s not a lot of money at all in terms of foreign reserves,” Sullivan said. “The Biden administration comes in and immediately says, ‘We’re not going to enforce those sanctions. As a matter of fact, we’re going to get Iran money.’ And right now Iran has well over $75 billion in foreign reserves in the three years since the Trump administration. “And guess what they’re using that $75 billion for? To fund Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, to train them,” he said. Sullivan blasted the Biden administration for retreating to its “default position” of “appeasement of Iran.”
Benny Johnson – It’s amazing how fast the talking points are changing— they went from:“ Joe Biden never spoke with his son about business dealings” to “Joe Biden just spoke about the weather” to “Ok, Joe Biden did speak with his son about business dealings” to “Alright, Joe Biden was actually present at these business […]
Two former* Senate counsels came out with an op-ed this week in the NYT, the paper of record for the swamp-dwelling establishment types, about how it’s imperative that Trump’s appointees undergo FBI background checks. Why? Trump is capable of privately vetting these people. We elected him, we trust him and his judgment. We didn’t elect the FBI and we don’t give a rip about what their judgment is. Especially given the fact that they have done nothing but destroyed conservatives for the past eight years. So that would be a hard pass.
Getting the FBI involved is just another deep state attempt to control the executive branch. We didn’t elect the FBI. Get out of the way. Realistically, the vote for Trump was a condemnation of the FBI who had been targeting him the last few years. No one trusts the FBI, nor should they due to their dubious track record over the last decade or two.
Well, no FBI vetting pre taking office means no damaging “leaks” on Trump appointees. Of course, the deep state establishment types don’t like that. Trump takes office, fires the top brass at the FBI and installs his people, investigates the FBI, and exposes the corruption, and THEN we can do background checks, not before.
Make no mistake about it, we didn’t elect the FBI, we elected Donald Trump to make the decisions, to decide who his vice president will be, to decide who he wants in his cabinet, not the FBI which has been violating the public trust for some time now.
