Don’t let the naysayers get your down. America is on track for three quarters of 3% economic growth for the first time in 14 years. The stock market has risen some 25% in a year, helping to make retirement more certain for millions of workers. The tax reform which just passed will put money back into the pockets of America’s middle class and help job creators to be competitive and invest more at home.

The individual mandate that forced people to buy a product they didn’t want at a price they couldn’t afford has been repealed. Piles of bureaucratic regulations have been thrown on the ash heap. The world now knows that American generosity cannot be taken for granted. Judges who understand and respect the Constitution are being appointed at record pace, from Justice Gorsuch down through our district courts.

Sure, we have challenges, but there’s a lot to be optimistic about in America.
