In one of the greatest examples of self-delusion in modern times, the mainstream media have already declared Hillary Clinton President, based on polls that they’ve been jiggering for her themselves. Some polls have her far ahead, like the highly-touted WSJ/NBC poll showing her with an 11-point lead…until you look at the poll sample and see that Obama voters outnumbered Romney voters by 46 to 32%. Obama won by 4 points, not 14. So Hillary had an 11-point lead in a poll that spotted her 10 points. But that’s nothing compared to an Arizona Republic poll that shockingly showed Hillary ahead by 5 points in that normally red state. You have to click through a link and scroll through a PDF document full of tiny type to discover the polling sample was 57% Democrat and 23.6% Republican – in ARIZONA! Where registered Republicans outnumber Democrats 36-33%. With cooked polls like this, I’m as surprised as Hillary that she’s not 50 points ahead.  

 

If you’re a Trump supporter who’s feeling demoralized, remember that the only poll that matters is taken on Election Day, so if you want to shock the pollsters, go vote and bring as many people as you can with you. It wouldn’t be the first time the pollsters have been shocked recently. For instance, when they predicted the heavy loss of the Brexit referendum in England, only to see it pass by a comfortable margin. Incidentally, the betting office that was one of the few places to predict a Brexit victory is now predicting a Trump victory based on the same betting patterns.”
